RIZZI’S ITALIAN RESTAURANTS is a family-owned business operated by the Rizvani family. Chef Dave Rizvani, along with his son, Bekim, and wife, Lauren, are your hosts. We take pride in the fact that we live in the area and work in the area. You, the customer, are important to us because you are our friends, our co-workers and our family. Our customers are the most important people to walk through our doors, and our staff strives to treat you as the VIP’s you are.
RIZZI’S RESTAURANTS have been operating in Peoria since 1995, with the first Rizzi’s being located at 4613 N. Sheridan Road. Rizzi’s on Sheridan has a cozy atmosphere to meet with your family & friends. Our bar and restaurant are both in the same room, and the bartender will often see our regular customers arriving outside and have their drink ready for them upon their arrival to the bar. We pride ourselves in knowing our regular customers and they are like our extended family.
In 1997 we added the 112 State Street location in downtown Peoria. This is just the location to dine before a Civic Center or other downtown event. There is ample free parking, and in the summer we offer patio dining. At State Street we have a private party room which seats up to 20 people and our DaVinci area in the restaurant can seat up to 50. Rizzi’s on State is just the venue for your private parties or to celebrate any special occasion.
Both of our RIZZI’S locations feature a variety of freshly made to order northern and southern style Italian food. We have a full service bar with an extensive wine menu. We are open for lunch and dinner (State Street is closed on Sundays). Dress code is casual, although some of our customers attending a play or going to the theater often like to dress up a bit when they come to Rizzi’s on State. However, come as you like, casual or more dressed up … we are all family and enjoy the variety.
